Yeah, around 7pm every nite a little crowd starts to gather by the bed, faces anxiously raised, eyes sparkling with anticipation, some with drool hanging, tails held in readiness for the first sign the treats are out and soon in their mouth! Squirt just sometimes has this yellow vomit and I think it's from the "empty tummy syndrome", too.

Pleased to hear Squirt is doing well.

As he got older Hamish suffered from the yellow vomit in the mornings if he didn't have a bedtime snack, so I wonder if it's something that cairns are prone to. He often went back to sleep after it happened so I would just wait for him to wake up in his own time then he would happily eat his breakfast. I found giving him a small snack around 10pm helped a lot.

yellow liquid vomit is bile I believe because their stomachs are empty. I give mine their snack at 10-11 pm now. Their breakfast is at 8AM. But still now and then Branny wakes up queasy. I started giving them probiotics prescribed by the integrated medical vet, so maybe that will help with that as well.

    Leslie:
I saw last nite on the weather channel that tornadoes are expected for Arkansas so please be safe. Hope Squirt is doing well. She is just messing with you Leslie! Tipper does it to me. I think they know how nuts they make us sometimes. How is that shoulder doing? Blessings

Well, this is her week to scare me! She was finishing up her lunch and I looked to be sure she ate it all and saw the bowl with BLOOD in it! I picked her up and there was bright red blood all over her mouth! The fight ensued to look in her mouth and could find nothing at all. Another fight to wash her face off and I haven't seen any more sign of the blood. With her mouth use so weird since the seizure, I wonder if she bit her tongue a good one. I tell ya, this promise of no more vet visits is getting harder and harder to keep.

Yeah, Patti, it's supposed to get really bad here later today, tonight and in the morning hours. I have been clearing out a bedroom closet and have two crates stacked in there for Sophie and Fox. The hall closet is emptied for Squirt, Trink and I. I don't have a "safe" place large enough for us all to stay together. Now I have to get Trink's food made and the meds, etc. gathered. We can go to my brother's who lives in a house but he is in the middle of tornado alley and his area has been hit more often than mine. So I'm not sure if we will stay here in the mobile home and tough it out or go to Mark's later today. It's such an ORDEAL to pack everything and everyone up!

    Leslie:
There was a moderator on here in 2011 called CYN 719 who had a dog named Penny. I saw where you posted a lot with her. Penny had terrible tremors too. I know from the posts this person was going thru cancer treatment too. Is she around still that I could maybe email her about the tremors? Blessings

Patti, I so wish I could tell you how Cindy is or where she is but I don't know. I contacted her via email several times and never heard back. I just pray she is alright.

EDITED TO ADD: You might try sending her a PM here and hope she gets it. Tho if her situation hasn't improved, she may not feel up to talking. It was very hard on her to lose Penny then have to face her own cancer again.

Maybe she no longer signs into the forum??? I don't want to ask for her email, so could you email her and tell her I want to talk to her?? If she does not answer I guess that is the end. Blessings

Oh My That is scary! I hope the blood was from nothing serious.
I hope you are all safe and not affected by the tornado. My prayers are with the families who lost their loved loves

I hope Squirt is better today no more blood!!

We are ok. The tornado started about 10 minutes north of me and tracked across the state to the NE. 16 dead so far. The morning's light will reveal the full impact. Please pray for those effected.
