I am crying...having just gone through my own stuff. I hope it went well. My husband did all the shopping, too, and hated not being able to do it anymore (and I hated doing it!).

I always find it comforting to come back here and reread all the support I received with Lena and Gable...it feels like home.

It feels like home because it is home and always will be. How could it not after all we have been through together?
Here we find our strength when we think we have lost it.
Doctor was a bit too optimistic and again we find ourselves trying to navigate a new normal we were ill prepared for.
Marianne, that casserole smells good and I have always been a chocoholic.
Zoe, mama found her strength reliving those hard years filled with so much love and so much heartache.
If only Daddy could understand how I fight the battles and why.

Addy, I’m so sorry it sounds like the medical news remains complicated. You and hubby sure deserve a break at this point!
