The red/small Pawz ended up fitting Buddy just right. The extra small (orange) were a definite no. Molly is not too big. The dang things are too small!

Holy cow that is cold! That is what our Wed is suppose to be like. We're in the wind chills of -25c now and that's too bloody cold for me and molly.

I'm going to try the small and if that doesn't work, move up to med I guess.

I tried looking everywhere i could think of and couldn't find the booties. I might have given them away. It was quite a few years ago and she never wore them outside (have to stand to be able to go outside in them and she would just lay down) So back to the store tomorrow. Darn if we aren't in for more snow on Thursday night too. I think maybe a bit tomorrow too. I can live with cold and dry pavement but molly cannot do this salt stuff on her paws.

Our x-small was black. I saw she had a box of small red though, so that is what I'll try to get tomorrow

Great news about the urine protein! Go Molly, GO! and nice work, Mom.

The cold... holy cow. I hope you can get Molly's boots and you don't have to stay out in that any longer that necessary. Having always lived in NC, I can't imagine that kind of cold. Y'all snuggle and stay warm!

Holy Heck, how are you supposed to get the dog's paw through the tiny opening of the PAWZ bootie, no matter the size???? I got the large ones for Peg yesterday, and they look like they ought to be the right size if I could ever get them on, but there is NO WAY her big fat paw is gonna make it through that opening . I was really hoping these would work (especially cuz the large ones are purple, and that matches her collar and also her bandage tape -- the girl would be stylin' ). But I'm thinking I'm striking out on these. Phooey, the idea seems so good otherwise...

I think they are supposed to be rather tight, but should stretch over the paw. I remember a friend who put them on her pugs... she called them paw condoms, lol.

    Have you seen this http://pawzdogboots.com/size-chart/?

When we got the mediums for Hamish they were a good fit, but definitely not tight, around his ankles and a bit large on the foot. I had planned to make them smaller with duck tape (someone told me to patch them with duck tape if they wore through which was great advice as it meant one pack lasted an entire winter) but he didn't seem too worried by the extra space.

Well it is quite the production to get it on her, but I tried a size small on to see if it would fit and it did.

Marianne, whatever size you Think will fit and should, go up one, otherwise it's a tight stretch and impossible to get on.

I haven't tried all 4 on her yet or taking her outside. When I put the one on her she held the paw up and tried to walk on 3 legs like she was dying or something, but she finally put it down, and went running up her steps to the window seat using all 4 feet, so I think this might work out, if I can just get them on her. After I took it off, she is running and hiding from me every time I call her, so she must think I'm torturing her. (she'll get over it, she thinks the same thing about being brushed)

    Now that's a visual!

The are designed to fit tight around the ankle so they stay on. They should not be so tight as to cut off circulation. They look very small, but do expand significantly. I wouldn't give up on them as of yet Marianne because they are waterproof and will keep Peg's sore foot clean and dry. You might need to go up a size.

That's encouraging Sharlene. If Miss Molly can run in one, she can run in four. Great Job!
