That is so funny Sharlene. Lets hope the tooting does not turn liquid. It seems every time I give CoCo something different he has soft stools so have to be careful for a few days. Trish, good idea about the plant, but we have plants, tall ones even, she is not interested.
Oh, one interesting thing, my sister said her dog (golden retriever) maddy, laid under her tree too. Must be a family thing. (Maddy's first christmas with my sister, as she took her in when her original family was going to get rid of her and my sisters dog had just passed away)
JoAnne, no squirts here. She's fine now. Whew! I am not a fan of the runny things.

So here we are, having a wonderful spring day and tomorrow too, although with rain, before something the weather folks are calling "brutal cold" hits us. Ugh, I don't like that phrase at all "brutal cold" Molly will Not like it, although thank goodness, her hair is growing back from the last grooming session. I said, don't go too short, they did of course go to short. She hates wearing her coats, so hasn't been too happy with the cold weather.

Today I took her for a walk, and she found a christmas tree someone had put out for garbage pickup. I had to practically drag her away. Nothing else really does it for her, but she LOVES pine trees of all kinds. Yews too come to think of it, and will happily smell them for ages and ages.

I was just commenting on both Tipper and Shysies threads about snoring. I've decided Not to panic about possible fat distribution causing it. Could be, but she did just have an xray and that wasn't mentioned. However, she has always snored and I was thinking, yea I snore too. Then I remembered that one night, when Molly was on the floor in her bed, my husband was having a rather loud snoring event. (it really was worthy of being called an event!) anyway, it woke me up and it must have woke molly up too, because she lay there for awhile doing her grumble growl, it's a sort of humph, humph, blow blow, growl. When he didn't stop, she got up, huffed and puffed about it some more and went underneath the bed to I guess hopefully find some dark and quietness. ROFL It killed me and I went back to sleep chuckling myself silly over it.

I should add that Molly often grumbles about things that bug her, like if the tv is on too loud, or the bedside lamp is too bright. She grumbles at us. If we don't go to bed when she wants, she'll lay on the stairs and grumble, although, now she has fixed that by going to sleep on the couch and needing to be carried up the stairs, because you know it's just too exhausting for her. If she thinks we are going up to bed and she runs up the stairs and then we don't show, or we go up and come back down, she'll lay in her bed and bark till we Do come up.
Talk about bossy dogs that run the house. Our Molly could give lessons!

Zoe snores too, has ever since she came to live with us. If I dont here her snoring I get worried if I wake up in the middle of the night. I did notice she snores less when I give her the melatonin or Tramadol. I decided not to worry about it either.

Molly rules the roost, no getting around it. Its the lhasa in her, they are bossy and stubborn. but then the shih tzu side keeps her sweet. Besides, any little girl as pretty as that should get her way

Fraser used to snore too! But I noticed when he started Trilostane that he stopped. It scared me for a while, I would wake up and have to check his breathing. Gotten used to it now though but I do still find myself watching to be sure.

As for jumpers. Don't know if they are available over there, but I bought my boys some beautiful "Hamish Macbeth" pyjamas for winter. Super soft and really light but warm. They actually didn't mind them on the single occasion that I put them on! And of course, a Sottish Terrier X must be seen in tartan! Of course now, with record breaking heat down here, it isn't an issue. Our 10 day Christmas/New year average was 39.5 degrees, (103 Fahrenheit), and though a few cooler days have come since, we've still got another 2-3 months of that. It's been pretty warm so far this summer. I'm actually looking forward to the day jumpers become a consideration for us again!
