I am grateful for my Christmas present Nov 1998-Apollo from my husband ,Doug.
I am grateful for almost 14 years with my Apollo I am grateful for the tricks you learned Apollo.
I am grateful for Apollo being there for me through good times, hard times, fun times, quiet times, sorrowful times.
I am grateful for the times you put your head on my shoulder.
I am grateful for the times you wanted me to give you a belly rub.
I am grateful for the times I came home and you waited in your bed in the kitchen for me to give you a belly rub.
I am grateful for seeing you in your car sit and having you look at me.
I am grateful for the time you ate my Starbucks blue berry scone out of the back sit of the car, and leaving me the wrapper.
I am grateful for the time you ate the bagels out of the grocery bag and leaving me part of the bagel at the garage door.
I am grateful for all the little outfits you wore over the years.
I am grateful for the airline trips we took.
I am grateful for the last dinner we all had outside at our favorite restaurant.
I am grateful for the journey we shared with Cushing.
I am grateful for fighting this Cushing battle.
I am grateful for the last month I got to take care of you.
I am grateful for you giving the honor of dying in my arms.
I am grateful for the peaceful passing Apollo gave me.

I always used to say-Apollo is Mommies Little Angel.

Dearest Sonja,

I was so sorry to hear about Apollo. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

He fought a long, hard battle, but he had the best mom he could possibly have. You were always there for him.
