Leslie -- it is so very hard to see our pups slow down. Please give Brick a gentle hug from us!

Hugs from one senior dog owner to another. Our toy poodle has slowed down in his speed, eats less, and loves naps more than in the past. It's hard to see.

Keep you in our prayers. Buffy's Mom.
Awwww, hugs for the little guy from me too.
Brick saw Doc this afternoon for his comprehensive annual exam. He passed with flying colors! He weighs about an oz less than the last time he was seen; I knew he had gained back most of the weight he had lost after changing him to the same feed Trink eats - Nature's Variety Raw Rabbit bites. Doc pronounced Brick was going to live forever. His teeth are horrendous but we won't put him under for a dental at his age - approximately 17. All in all, I am very happy with how he is doing these days and Doc was pleased as well.

Death is not a changing of worlds as most imagine, as much as the walls of this world infinitely expanding.
What fabulous news, Leslie -- an early Christmas present for us all!
I've been worrying about y'all today in the midst of these bad storms, so I'm doubly glad to see your post this evening and to know you're OK.
