    Re: Suni

As far as I know allergies wouldn't cause what you were seeing in Suni....but I could be wrong. LOL

    How is Suni feeling today?
  3. Re: 10 year old female beagle just diagnosed with Cushings

That was something I learned about myself thru Squirt....I need to be needed. As much work and dedication as it required to look after Squirt in her latter years I would do it all over again and...

    Re: Miss Peggotty

    Re: Suni

As she comes off of the steroids those signs should start to go away IF this is only Iatrogenic. Right now the steroids are causing the signs, not because the adrenals are over-producing cortisol. ...

    Re: Suni

Most vets are using Vetoryl these days (compound name Trilostane). It has the same risk factors as Lysodren but has a much shorter life in the body than Lyso so if, IF, there is a problem with the...

  12. Re: New here, 11 year old sweet JRT mix just diagnosed with CushingÂ’s

bichons9, When you see Cushing's with the capital A and weird markings it has something to do with texting on a phone I think. It is not a separate form of Cushing's. It's some sort of typo or...

Here's a link Glynda shared with me:

    Re: Surgery Scheduled

Great news on the splenic tumor! That was the same as for my Squirt. Because of that experience I always recommend the ultrasound if at all feasible. Praying the liver path report is just as good!

Re: Question about trilostane side effects

Hi and welcome from us as well!

Typically once a dog starts to show signs of an overdose you want to stop the med for a few days and let the adrenal glands regenerate. Protocol says 7 days but...
