Re: Holidays can be hard...
Hi Joan, I’m thinking of you especially this evening, and hoping that your Christmas hosting plans are going well and just as you had planned them. It’s been a quiet but very peaceful day around our house, as it will also be tomorrow. After a fairly cold stretch of weather in November, it’s been weirdly warm here this week. As I said to hubby about an hour ago, “What a pretty *summer* evening it is!” But we will still stick to many of our own little Christmas traditions this evening and tomorrow, and honor all of our dear memories.
I send my Merry Christmas wishes to our other K9C family members, as well. For sure, peace and comfort to all!!!
Re: Holidays can be hard...
Merry Christmas to you, Marianne. Everything went fine. The dinner turned out delicious, and this morning's brunch was really good. Josh helped and made the pancakes, which turned out to be flatcakes (my batter recipe was a flop!), tasted good, but were more like crepes. We all got a good laugh about it.
Jeremy is moving down to Florida in a couple of weeks, so it was bittersweet. He cried when he said goodbye to my two girls. I'll be going back and forth helping him box up, so I don't have to cry yet.
We're supposed to be getting another snowstorm over the weekend. I love snow, so as long as I don't have to go anywhere, I'm fine with it. I'm glad you had a peaceful holiday...
Love to all!
Joan
Re: Holidays can be hard...
Well, another year has drawn to a close — and another new year beckons. I wish our K9C family the very best in the days to come. But as always, most importantly, peace and comfort to all.
With love,
Marianne
