Hope she is home soon, Julie!
ok it is 4:40 my time, guess I will check when I get home:):)
We are home! She is doing pretty well, but a little weird, of course. I think she's hungry. I'm softening some food for her now. I finally got her to lie down, but if I move she's up. I have to give Buprenorphine every 8-12 hours. I sure hope that goes okay. I know she could be sedated or act a little wacky, but they told me that's more common in cats. I've been told by several vets that it's very safe and they use it all the time. I sure hope so.
I'm going to give a little food soon and then try the med around 7:00, I think. Thanks again for sticking with us!
Julie & Hannah
Glad you are both home safe and sound

Hey Julie! Awesome vet! I want her too! Sounds like Hannah did wonderful throughout the whole thing too. Now if her back is okay and she heals up fine, things should be dandy for awhile. :) Crossing fingers for that.
Not going anywhere :)

YAY! Our girl is back home where she belongs in Mom's loving arms!
Thank goodness, now she just needs some holding and a bit of food and a pain pill and a good night sleep.
Dont let her gulp a bunch of water. They told me Zoe should have a few sips and then take it away and offer again in 10 minutes. If they gulp water they can vomit. They get so happy they are home, the surgeon said they can gulp too much water.
Dear Hannah, I am so glad you are back home with mommy. feel better soon.
Love, Auntie Addy
