Re: Molly, 10 yr, shih tzu - lhasa aspo, cushing diagnosis
Just give her a call and ask the vet about the two different types and if there is a difference in the two and how they affect treatment for lyme disease. I don't know that it is better or worse than the other one. I'm glad you found it as an option and if it works the same as the other doxycycline, then I'd go for it, but since I've never used either. I really don't know.

So glad things are all good with Molly. Now to figure out how to get her to not be so in love with her tail. little stinker..

Hi
Thanks again-That's funny that Sasha didn't like the wet grass feel on her feet.Usually that's the little ones who hate that!I love all their little quirks and different personalities.Have to go to NY this weekend, but hope you and Molly girl have a good weekend!Btw,I loved the pictures you have posted of Molly-she is beautiful!!My aunt had a lhasa many years ago who lived to be 17!She was adorable but what a terror!:)My aunt loved that dog so much,I think more than her husband. She could never get another after losing her but still speaks of her like it was yesterday.Have a good night and thanks again.

stopping by to say hello and make sure all is still going good!!!! awesome news about the urine.
do you have the little doggy floaties for when she is in the pool? those little boogey boards are sort of nice to have them assisted float on too.
AND dont you know pool water is messing up her tail she loves so dearly!!!!!!! lol cute little button.

Hi Sharlene
Hope you had a great Mother's day and that Molly is doing well. Thanks again for all your help and suggestions.Gracie is overdue for a good romp on the beach with her tennis balls!:).It's awful to see them actually suffering from depression.I don't want her to have to change,I want her to be the silly carefree adolescent that she loves to be!:D.
I went by the neighborhood that I found Fella all those years ago.I so wish I could go back in time and relive those wonderful 10 1/2 yrs again.I was actually hoping and praying that another little one would just appear and I could do it all over again.:).
My gf could not believe Gracie's behaviour change. She said that Fella must have given her a good talking to before he passed. We are so used to scolding her-grace stop stealing all Jelly's toys, grace stop stealing the napkins,Grace, stop eating the plants,Grace get off my friends bed, etc, etc!:).She just sat there quietly and would not go near my friend's dog.Walked all the way around the room the other way just to avoid him-we couldn't fig out what was wrong.I hope things get easier for her as I hate to see her this way.If only she had an online support group herself!:).Hopefully she will have a good romp tomorrow. Thanks again and hugs to Molly girl!
