I agree that I shouldn't start anything like that just yet...although the water thing does seem kind of soothing. The only physical therapy is me getting her up and moving her around. Dr. B wants me to do this as much as I can so she doesn't get stiff. As if she isn't already. Too bad she can't just be on prednisone now.

Hi Glynda...Just watched the video on your link. She does look a lot like the Goo...just a different color and a bit more shepard-ish maybe. She's adorable. I think that's what Lucy needs. I'm going to run it by Dr. B Tuesday when I see him. Who knows...maybe they have one of those tanks there. If not, I've done a little research on line, there's one in Tarzana:(
I also think I need to relax a little (which is I'm sure what you all are thinking.) After all, she just had surgery a week ago Wednesday..

I am extremely late to this party... have only just now skimmed through Lucy's adventures. What a tough road you two have been on - and yet you retain a sense of humor! :)

Just so you know, there's a long, storied reputation here for fascination with poop details....
Lucy is clearly one tough girl and you are a strong, resilient, and very dedicated person and that's what it takes to get through something like this.

Hi guys...Just a quick update on Lucy...She's doing much, much better. The only problem we're having now it seems is getting up from a lying down position. She's starting to give me attitude about it, too (snarling and growling.) But once she's up and walking, that's improved a lot, too.
I'm looking forward to going back to work on Tuesday, because I feel I'm becoming more than a little bit batty being home so much nursing Lucy...So I found a vet tech who has a home business that will be helping Lucy when I go back to work and just want to get away. Met her today and she's great.

Scott has had some experience with getting-up-and-down problems (hip related I believe) with his Moria and, if I remember correctly, he invested in a sort of harnessy thingy that helped considerably. Maybe something like that would help Lucy and you. It sounds like she is in pain when you are helping her up.
