Molly, 13 yr, shih tzu - lhasa aspo - Molly has passed

Hi Judi, yea we just got busy with fathers day weekend stuff, swim parties and kids, which was all great.

Then yesterday I got sick. :( sore throat, coughing, chills, can't stay awake, drat it. I have till Friday to beat this. Which is our anniversary and we have plans all weekend. I refuse to be down and out for that.

Have you ever heard of Buckley's? Its a cough, cold, flu medicine, who actually advertises that "it taste awful but it works". I'll be taking that tonight before bed. gads, must be desperate.

Molly had the runs on Saturday so, checked her poop sunday morning and it was fine, but still withheld the trilostane for Sunday, back to regular dosing on monday.

This happened at the cottage too, and I didn't give her trilostane on the sunday, after hubby said her stools where a bit looser than we like.

I am putting both of these episodes down to stress. The travel to the cottage and then this weekend the pool party with kids. She always reacts to stress with 'the runs'

Okay Sharlene, you are sick and need to take care of yourself.:o

It is time for an intervention. It is obvious that you can not do this on your own, so you need our help. Put your devices down and back away ever so sloooooowly. Okay, obviously that did not work, so try again....

It will be hard, but we will survive without you until you're feeling better. Well, at least most of us!;) Our little diva needs her mama in tiptop shape and so do we! Soooooo rest Sharlene and PUT YOU DEVICE DOWN!!!! Don't make me come there and take it from you!

I am behaving myself. But reading isn't that hard to do. Still coughing but my throat isn't sore any longer and head only sometimes feels basketball size. A couple people have suggested allergies and it does all seem to be around head and stuffiness so maybe. Did have the chills though at first.

Anyway. No time. I am going to take some sinus meds today because today is our anniversary and we are going out to dinner tonight that will be very long 3-4 hours tasting menu and wine pairing about 18 - 20 courses and I will enjoy it darn it!

Tomorrow we are doing the. VIP theatre to see Jurassic world. And Sunday we are going to a film premiere documentary. So really. No time for sick.

Molly at least is being great. Just needs hair trimmed out of eyes. But very much her Molly self doe which I am every grateful.
