Hi Gina,

You Go Goo Girl :):D:):D:):D
John (Roxee's Dad)
Hey you guys stop making me jealous, it's only midday here and much too early to have a celebratory drink. Or is it?
Jenny
Jenny...it's never too early for a celebratory drink...and besides, you and Alison got me through THE most difficult night of my life! I love all you guys....can't wait to get Lucy home tomorrow....I owe all of you so much...thank you:)
Love,
Gina and Lucy
PS....I also forgot to mention....they're studying the tissue from Lucy's tumor to improve cushings treatment in general for dogs...so it's not just for the surgery, it's to further study this horrific disease, and hopefully some day put an end to it. Dr. B is very interested in it because it's so common in dogs....Cedars-Sinai is interested because of the pituitary tumor, they want to further understand how it behaves, etc....so I was told. I'm just glad Lucy's improving...I really didn't want her to become a science project gone awry.

Hi Gina,
Wow !!!! This is the best news :D:D:D I am so happy for you and your Goo girl!!! You truly have made history!!! I am delighted to hear about Lucy's remarkable progress and improvement.
I propose a forum cyber-toast to both of you upon Lucy's homecoming ;). I know we all will be cheering, wagging tails, and shedding tears of joy with you.
You are the best!!!
wishing you both peace, love, and joy!!!

Hi all....
I hope I'm doing this right....glad I was able to get here through the transition. Lucy's home...she can barely walk, but she wants to eat ALL THE TIME:)
Of course, I've already f'ed up on her meds...gave her a whole cortisol acetate tablet tonight instead of a half.....don't think it's too big a deal, but e-mailed Dr. Bruyette to see if he wanted me to adjust tomorrow, and apologize for what an idiot I am. She's just on so many meds, I was just going down the list, handing pills to my boyfriend to put in meatballs of food...when I realized...AGHHH! It was too late....already put a whole pill in a meatball and it was downed. she's pretty out of it otherwise, and I notice her arthritis is back FIERCE! So I gave her a Cosequin tonight, and am going to continue with that....Dr. B doesn't want to give her NSAIDs yet, but we may have to later...it usually takes the Cosequin about a month to kick in, so we'll see.
I'm just happy that she's home....and I'm hoping every day will bring improvements......
Thanks to all of you for being so supportive to me during this time..
Much Love,
Gina and Lucy
And...I forgot to add...thank you so much for making this wonderful site. I clearly would have just collapsed without you guys. It's beautiful, by the way:) Congrats!!:D
How wonderful Lucy is home -- I'm sure every day will bring improvements.
