Great to hear that Lucy is showing some significant improvement - particularly with her sight! It does sound like she was off her face on ACE! Maybe all the doses she had had sort of accumulated and combined with exhaustion and the relief at being at home she just crashed out!
I hope you are getting some much-needed and hard-earned rest yourself. I know first hand what a rough night with a sick dog is like although I didn't have an earthquake to contend with too! Your earthquake made the news here, BTW!

Hi Gina,
Sorry to hear of the terrible time you have had with Lucy, I was too busy at work yesterday and missed coming here but want you to know that I am thinking of you both and am glad to hear there has been some improvement.
We went through something similar with our other dog last year, but he hadn't had major surgery, so it must have been frightening for you.
Hope you have a more peaceful day today.

Hi Gina,
I am so happy to hear the great and encouraging news about Lucy :) Everyone around the world is cheering for her!
I told my vet about her yesterday at our visit and he was amazed and excited! He is now in her cheering section as well!! We are so glad that things are improving!!
I agree that Lucy can feel your strength and it's adding to her fight. The love that you have for one another is a tremendous part of the incentive to struggle and fight that Lucy has.
She wants to be with you and will do everything in her power to get there. You girls are both fabulous!!!
I hope we can all have a cyber-celebration when Lucy returns home and is more herself!!! Hang in there !!
with love and prayers...

Hi everyone:)
Just got the morning update from Dr. B...and I quote..."She looks phenomenal.":D:D:D He said they had her up and walking outside, still showing some left-sided weakness, but he said she's "clearly visual." He wants to keep her one more day just to make sure. He thinks it was the ACE, in combination with just having her head cracked open. He also said when they were giving her the ACE it was IV, so the absorption is different orally, obviously, and it just was too much for her. So now I'm going to see her this afternoon:)
Thank you all so very, very much for all your good wishes...this is really the best place in the world:) I'll post again later after I see her...
Lots of love,
Gina and Lucy
