Re: Introducing Fraser
Hey Sharlene, I don't know what is going on with his cortisol to be honest. I do know that when his results came back perfect that one time (at 1.8) he was excellent, but they just seem to always continue to drop even further. Even on 5mg I think they were dropping too low still (as in down to crash point) and with that being such a low dose, I don't think he needs the trilo. I guess we'll see in the next few weeks.
Oh well, we've had a great morning already, off to Dim Sum lunch in an hour, doing mothers day a day early then I'll cook her dinner tomorrow night too, so she will be spoilt this weekend. Not that she isn't normally mind you!
So on that note, need to get myself off this computer and get organised. Happy Mother's day to you all (for sunday), whether your kids are two or four legged, we are all mums. Hope you have a great weekend and will check back later on. :D:D:D

Re: Introducing Fraser
That's weird, we are taking Mum out for Yum Cha/dumplings tomorrow for Mother's Day too, she picked it! My sister has just decided she is vegan, so god knows what she is going to eat, maybe they have tofu dumplings
The photo shoot sounds like it was a big hit with the boys, I bet the treats included topped off all the fun! They sound all tuckered out after their morning of stardom, so can't wait to see the pics!
Be great if Fraser perks up a bit off the Trilo, thats a definite bonus. Are you going to get it tested again, or just keep him off? I guess if he is a happy little fellow then no need to test!!

Re: Introducing Fraser
Well so far it's three days off trilo and Mr Spunky Bum is back! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D He's got a big smile on his face, played ball at the park (and a little bit during his photo shoot yesterday) pick a new girlfriend to follow (yet another black poodle. Working dogs and poodles seem to be the go) and trotted himself off to his favourite trees to check the messages. On top of that, he is starting to be a little more interested in food - though still picky - and his poop is forming up again. So with all of that going on, it seems like even the 5mg was too much for him! Soooooooooo glad I stopped it now!
At this point, as long as any symptoms don't go overly haywire, I am reluctant to even think about starting it up again, but then who knows what the next few weeks will bring? Wow, what a ride the last 8 months have been. I'm still questioning whether it really was/is cushings in the first place, or if it was raised cortisol levels due to the liver tumour. If only I'd had that ultra sound done last year hey?
Hindsight....... But you know what? Mr Spunky Bum is back for now!!!!! :D:D:D
And on top of all that, Oz is the best I have seen him in years. He is so completely happy with himself at the moment I would think he has gone senile or something! I just looked at him a little while ago and he grinned at me and started thumping his tail madly, funny boy. While running at the park in his socks the other day, my sister gave him a new nickname - Bootylicious! And he is! So all up, it's been a great weekend for us here. Here's hoping it stays that way for a while to come!
