What fun! Sounds like a great time was had by all including Molly!
Glad all went well over the weekend...but so sorry to read about Ringo. What a heartbreak for the whole family. Glad you saved that little squirrel from drowning...poor little thing. Good karma coming your way for that good deed!

Can't squirrels swim??
FYI - Squirrels are excellent swimmers. One could have trouble getting out of the pool due to the slick surface and die from exhaustion.
I think you should have served the squirrel chips & dip!
I'm sorry about Ringo. That will be a tough one for the little boy to deal with.
Glad to hear you survived the pool party.
Hugs,
Susan
How is our little Muffin doing Sharlene? Does she still seem to be having trouble with her vision?
LOL Chip and dip Susan!
I think the squirrel panicked and didn't see the stairs maybe? He could easily have gotten out, instead he clung to that noodle till hubby fished him out with the pool net and then he scampered away. First time it's ever happened that we know of.
I don't know, what is her vision and what is my imagination at this point Kathy, so I'm just going to wait till we see the eye specialist and see what he says.
She is having a great time as usual and not having many quiet days it seems. Running and playing and bringing toys to be played with and dropping them at our feet, so she feels okay I think.
It's been very busy around here lately, with people in and out and things going on. This is my birthday weekend and we have a lot going on. Company party here tomorrow, etc. No lobster Leslie. We're going with a pretty traditional catered bbq style dinner, swimming if anyone wants and a band to play a couple sets. Molly will be at doggy day care over night so as not to stress her. She did after all just recover from having a 2 year old in the house with much banging and carrying on. She got a bit of stress diarrhea from that, which adding in more fiber food and some probiotic cleared up in 24 hours. But she really would freak at 40 people in the house.
Tonight we went out and then had friends over and she was loving it. She came to say good bye to everyone when they left and one of my friends went with me to take her for a walk when we first came back home and she was grooving seeing everyone. She does love the people she knows well.
A dog wants her pack around her after all. :)
Got to run!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHARLENE!!!:p:p:p:):):)
Thanks Kathy!!!
Gads. Got through the weekend alright and a bit exhausted. Molly did fine at her over night stay.
The cosmos must have decided we needed a bit more excitement though as hubby has now been diagnosed with double hernias. One on each side and that is taking my constant attention along with work and other things going on. Life eh. Never say it's boring. Lol.
Molly is having a high energy spike tonight. She is all over the place with her activity level so think we will need a good long walk tonight.
Hugs all
