Looks like we are all having bad weather, hope you are ok. We had 5 and counting inches of rain. I have taken water out of the pool twice:rolleyes: The rest of the subdivision has no power, ha, it usually our side of the street but I finally got a break!!!
When do you leave for whale watching? I want to hide in your suitcase;)
yikes you must have gotten some solid downpours. We had one yesterday. Hubs came home in the middle of it and was drenched from car to house. Then when he got in, him and molly hung out on the couch while she had the shakes. Soon as the storm was over, she took a nap and was fine.
She currently has her dental bone and is chewing on it with her tail just wagging as fast as can be. That dog sure does get happy over those things.
Judi, Keesh's mom got a bad tornado up her way that did a lot of damage to about 100 homes. Missed her though thank god. Missed us too.
Eeek I hate losing power. Every since we had that big power outage throughout the entire northeast, I have said I need to get some solar powered items.
I'm working on it. I'll be getting some solar power flashlight, radio hopefully, now have a solar power speaker and phone charger. Slowly but I'm getting there. Item by item. :)
We leave next week, Thursday morning, but I'm taking the majority of Wed off too. Work is driving me nuts. LOL Everything feels so topsy turvy, one minute we're negotiating manager, then I hear they are cutting people and I will probably move to a different department but doing the same job, my Director is retiring so they are reorganizing, then I get more work projects thrown on my plate. A co-worker that is mostly a pain in the tush and a chip as wide as north ameica on his shoulder and I just want to scream. Hubs says I have to keep working at least part time though so we can retire some day, so there you have it. The good thing is that everything that doesn't go into the retirement fund goes into the molly fund. hahahahaha It's true, I work for the dog. Last month I was holding on to every cent hoping I didn't get cut, this month I just want to go see some whales.

Hi gang, well it's that time and I will be very limited online for the next 2 weeks, between work and the trip to newfoundland.
I hope you guy hope you all stay safe and healthy, you and pups, while I'm away. No crisis's allowed!!! Will miss you all.
Molly is having, an LDDS test again to check that nodule for secretion, IMS thinks it will come back negative. Another UPC to see if the high or the normal one is the real deal and she'll have her liver enzymes checked.
Meeting with the vet tomorrow to see what liver supplement to use. Turns out they don't seem to have anything with sam-e and milk thistle in it that she knows of, which I find hard to believe, so I'm researching tonight for an option here in canada. joy joy.

Is Molly in today having her tests?? Hope it goes well Sharlene, worrying time waiting for results so Flynn and me have our paws crossed!
Ask about Samilyn, that has both the sam-e and milk thistle in it. Take it from me, it is not cheap though!! I have had a talk with week with Mike, he is looking into them more too. Denosyl does not have milk thistle, Denamarin has both, but it is a little lower in strength than Samilyn.

I used S-Adenysol-100 for Hamish because it had milk thistle, however I'm not sure if its available in Canada.
No, molly isn't have the test till while we are away, so I won't know results till we get back.
S-Adenysol-100 does have milk thistle in it. Interesting. The one my vet looked at didn't, maybe it wasn't the 100. I'll ask her tomorrow when we meet to discuss. I've already mentioned Denamarin, need to find out the maker of that, as I haven't found it available in Canada. Also will mention the Samilyn.

My vet wanted me to use the S Adenosyl as he said it had more good benefits that the Hepato Support I was using?? I know a lot use the Denamarin, but I have never tried it. I hope your vacation is wonderful and you take some whale pictures for us. Wait Sharlene isn't that the week we are supposed to switch?? Haha. It is raining here if you can believe it. It was sunny all day. I told you Tipper went potty out in a storm the other nite with thunder and the works, tonite a raindrop beaned her and she was in a full panic?? I guess she may have lower cortisol tonite, which I am watching her like a hawk. We will miss you the next two week, so be safe and have fun you deserve it. Blessings

If I remember correctly I gave Hamish (around 15lbs) the S-Adenysol-100 (purchased from Amazon.com) plus Hepato Support because the total amount of milk thistle was below the total amount the bet said he could have. I need to see if I still have any records.....
