And what about the pain he leaves behind on his loved ones for the rest of their lives. To me a suicide is the most selfish act one can inflict on their loved ones. I wish he'd used that courage(?) to go on with his life as hard as it may be instead of ending it.
My dear Leslie, my heart aches for you. I wish I had some healing words to offer but I am really struggling this week, too, and especially today. I am having such a hard time mobilizing to do much of anything other than worry. I am going to try really hard to pay attention to Addy's wise guidance about finding something good in this day, though, and I so hope you will be able to, too. Kathy has been my guardian angel today and came up with a whole list of good things to remind me of on Peg's (Luna's ;)) thread. But I'm back here with a good thing for us both, Les: All the goodness and kindness and support that have been showered upon us by our K9C family today.
