What do you pay for an ACTH stimulation test? Australian Dollars (AUD)

I pay 279 for all to do with the ACTH test including time tomm is there for. And they charge 4.50 for waste removal!!!!

I don't know anything about Australian dollars, but I paid $287 American dollars for ACTH testing.

We go to IMS and we are charged $138

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: WOW!!!!! That is expensive. Just for the test we are charged $138. If it's a vet tech administering and we don't see the IMS total is $173. If we see the vet total is $188.

The first two ACTH tests I had done at the vet I paid a little over $300 US dollars - ouch! I have two different vets about 100 miles away from each other (because I was working in one place and living in another) and they were both around $300 USD

However, I just switched to UC Davis and just paid $170 and got my results within 24 hours.
Sticking with UC Davis!!

$305.30 (Australian) At internal medicine specialist. My normal vet quoted me originally $300 then next time quoted $340 (with consultation). No extra charges at IM specialist .
