Not going with the Valerian if that is the case, too risky. Thank you!
So pleased to hear that you and the pups are safe, and what a lovely thing for your friend to do.
My heart goes out to those who are affected.
I am sorry to hear Squirt threw up again, I hope it passes and stops happening fast!
Poor little Squirty.:o
Big hugs Leslie xxxxxx
I'm so glad that you're all safe!
Hope that you figure things out with Squirt soon.
So pleased the storms missed you, Squirt and the gang but crikey they close enough being in the same state. How is Squirts tummy today? Hopefully no more vomiting x
Odd you should ask as I was just coming to share what I saw this morning. Squirt was laying on the floor asleep where I could see her out of the corner of my eye. She suddenly started having what I first thought was convulsions - her abdomen was coming up off the floor in rapid repetitions. I shoved the computer back and yelled her name - and she raised her head and gagged as if she was going to vomit again, but didn't. Her feet were moving as if dreaming but the belly action was much more evident than in her usual dreams when she makes sounds during them like little yelps, barks, etc. She's awake and hasn't acted as if anything is bothering her. I wonder if she felt nauseous and was heaving in her sleep - which scares the crap outta me. If she vomits in her sleep she may aspirate on it.
She got treats last nite and will again very shortly, then breakfast. I may start feeding her a lite meal later in the nite to see if that helps. There is no telling what's behind this, tho - liver, a tumor or cancer, gall bladder, tummy....and it worries me no end. But I won't put her through a bunch of tests and certainly not surgery so I will just have to remain curious and worried. And trust her to tell me when enough is enough.
She IS going to the groomer this morning for the nail battle, tho. :D The whole gang is going. I will wait on her and Brick to get trimmed and bring them back home with me - I won't leave them but the others will be there to work on through the day. Trink is getting a summer cut, and I am sure she will be much happier with their results than with the usual cut she gets from Mom with scissors. :p
Oh Leslie! How frightening! I have no clue what to guess this was but I am praying hard this will never happen again!
I am relived to hear she is acting fine since this happened.
I hope the rest of the days and days following are uneventful for you and her.
HUGSSSS
Poor little Squirt - I hope it's nothing serious.
I'm not sure if what you're describing is similar to something I saw from Hamish a few times when he was asleep - he would be fast asleep on his side and would yelp, feet would move, etc. then his chest would heave very violently quite a few times followed by yelps / barks. We used to leave him and he would be fine afterwards.
