I know how you feel. It is scary giving something to them that will most likely increase their cortisol. Hang in there. Like I said Ali's symptoms worsened for the short term but DRAMATICALLY improved afterwards. Sounds like you are in the same boat and you have to try anything to get her comfortable. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will give Hannah relief!!!

Thanks for checking! We are on Day 4 of Triamcinolone, and Day 5 in a row of a steroid, and she didn't wear a cone at all today! Whoopee!

Eating, drinking, and urinating are only minimally increased, but she was a bit more lethargic than usual today. I'm a little concerned about that, but emailed the vet to check on it. Part of me wonders if she is just finally comfortable!? :eek::confused:

Wow No cone!!! Congratulations. That is a winner day for her. :) I'm sure she loved having the cone off and I bet you did too.

Awesome news!! Love to hear the cone is off :D Maybe her little body is just getting used to the meds and is taking time to adjust hence her tiredness. So pleased with this report Julie!! :) xx

Hannah's was the first story I read on this site when I was started researching Cushing Disease. I just wanted to check on her and I hope things are good.

I lost my 14yo shih tzu, Tia on August 11th. It's a heartache like no other.
