Re: Squirt - Atypical; melatonin, lignans and Lysodren maintenance
Grace is doing alright tho she has had diarrhea again this week - I bragged that she hadn't had any in a bit so she showed me! :D No she didn't eat any staples - Doc left the place where the ruptured tumor was removed open so it can drain so no staples missing. They will come out early this week.
I have been kicking myself in the rear for giving Squirt that bath. She could barely walk yesterday and last night. She's required the sling since the bath to go outside and potty - she sinking down in it again. :( So I've got to find another way to get the urine off her skin when she needs a more thorough cleaning than a wash cloth or someone to drive us to a groomer - tho that scares the crap outta me. I fear they wouldn't understand how fragile she is in spite of her ability to fight what she does not want.
This tooth is abscessing again so we will be lazy today for sure. I got to go eat lunch with some friends yesterday for the first time in a year I think and really, really, really needed that even tho I didn't get that steak I've been craving! I stuck with soft foods I could eat better but the food was the least of it. I told my friends it was so nice - not once did either one of them bark, whine, or growl at me demanding one thing or the other NOR did I have to clean the floor behind them! :p

Since John is a groomer I am wondering if he would have any tips on how to give Squirt a thorough cleaning without doing the complete bath?
Sending love and hugs, Lori

Baby wipes maybe? Then a warm cloth to rinse off any residue.

I am wondering if you could use any of the dry shampoos they make for dogs? They do make wipes to clean them also. I know what a hard time you must be having trying to keep her clean. How are the other eight doing? Blessings

I almost peed my pants watching this video. I was on the bed and looked at it with my tablet. I had no idea it would be so vocal, Tipper heard the barking from the tablet, jumped up out of a nap, and proceeded to trash the cover on my tablet. It was so funny I wish I would have videos Tipper's reaction as it was priceless, I am still laughing. Blessings
