Getting ready for the damaging winds and storm. I have given Tipper melatonin and she has her dap collar on. I pray this does not upset her this early in the season. I can hear the wind starting up, Tipper thankfully has finished her walks Hope you dont get this!! Blessings

OMG, I am getting caught up on Molly and was laughing about all the tooting, and then I got to this post and lost it! I busted out laughing out loud and both dogs flew off the couch. Trumpet bum, Lol. I love it. Molly "trumpet bum" Muffin. LMAO. :D :D :D
I am not laughing at Molly's expense Sharlene, Shelby does quite a bit of audible tooting in her own right, and doesn't seem bothered at all when it is happening. :p
Hugs from me and Jasper, and a belly rub for the little girl :)

LOL Trumpet bum, if only! At least then there would be some warning! No, these are silent but deadly.
No worries Tina, hubby and I, one or the other have been known to jump from the couch ourselves and run out of the room, laughing and usually saying something like "Molly!!! My gawd dog, did that come from your body!!!"
She does have a shoe fetish, she loves shoes, preferably recently worn ones. She doesn't go for the chew, she goes for the trying to fit her entire body inside of one. She has been known to wear herself out and fall asleep with her head resting on the shoe, still dreaming of getting inside of it. You know the only thing she Will chew is a spike heeled shoe. Those are perfect for her to get her mouth around. (no I don't wear spike heels, I'd likely break my neck if I tried, so she doesn't get much of a chance, but guest beware!)
hugs,

Oh Sharlene,
Molly would be in heaven on earth at my house! I must own almost 300 pair of high heeled shoes. All colors and styles.
We are also familiar with the phrase "did that actually come out of your body".
Amazing the chaos those tiny bodies can cause.

Page two?? I don't see that often! I always find you on page one. Are you having the beautiful day in the 50s?? Tipper is loving this. I am so glad that darn test is over. She walked and is resting now. I hate that whacked out look they have after this test is done. I guess the results will be back Friday. Hope you and Molly get some walk time in today. Blessings

Are you sure all that wind is Molly? Could someone be blaming it on the dog? It has been known to happen! When I was growing up, my dad said that's what the dog was for. Just a thought. Lol :D:D
Re: Molly, 10 yr, shih tzu - lhasa aspo, cushing diagnosis
ROFL Kathy! Well if the shoe fits!!
It's been a pretty hectic time around here the last few days. Hubs was away, I'm working and doing some special projects, we have a new CEO that is either causing tons of anxiety or not enough, hard to tell, but it makes people pretty antsy. That leads to the trickle down effect I think. It's way too soon to tell what changes will occur but all departments seem to be on edge. Can't blame them I suppose.
Yes the weather is lovely here, for now. LOL The yard is cleaned up of all the winter mess and boy was there a lot of mess. hahaha
Molly is booked into getting groomed on Friday. We'll be able to see her eyes again!! I'm looking forward to getting her looking cute and less furry again. That stuff is horrid to try to keep the mats out of in this spring weather. Rain, mud, and white fur, with a harness, means we are in brush mode constantly and she was growling at me as I was trying to brush her ears the other day. I said, that's it, I'm calling her groomer, we both need to be saved. So I called the groomer and said, Deanna, it's Sharlene, SAVE me and molly! She cracked up laughing, but got us in this week. LOL I explained about mollys back and all to her, and she understands, having had two shih tzu's that had back problems too. Asked if I'd been sent to the doggie chiropracter yet. I was like, NO! and not going either. I'm fearful with that bone degeneration spot on her spine of any kind of manipulation.
Anyway.
Talk about a little diva. So I give her a couple bites of plain chicken breast on top of her dry kibble today. I looked over and notice that she had picked out the chicken breast and when she got a bite of the kibble in her mouth, she was turning her head and dropping it on the floor next to her dog bowl. I was like, Molly Muffin! You clean that up right now. LOL Well, she didn't right Then of course, having to have the last say and all, but when I checked later, she had eaten the stuff she'd spit out on the floor and then left the rest in her dog dish.
She grazes on her dry food off and on during the day. She has wet on top of it to get her to eat at all in the mornings and take her liver supplement. The she a bit of wet on it after her late afternoon walk to get her to eat a bit more.
She has Never had the cushing appetite that we all talk about, unless it's her decision. She scavenge for chicken though and go nuts if she smells me cooking meat in the kitchen, but really could care less most of the time about dry dog food. Go figure. I probably wouldn't want it either. LOL
So, I'm trying to stay as caught up as I can be on the forum, which doesn't leave much time for me to write on my own thread and you know, we're just doing the same as usual around here. :)
hugs all

I think Molly is getting vibes from Keesh about the food. His nibs acts the same way. If it isn't to his liking out goes the Kibble, then comes back later. My kitchen at times looks like a bag of kibble exploded. They are funny !!!
