I have the iPhone 4S too. Love it and loving the iPad too. Other than I miss Aldiko book reader.
Hubs is all apple. Mac iPad iPhone Apple TV I think too. I don't even try to keep up with his toys. Lol

Okay I think I found the microphone let's try this out now. Woo hoo that was pretty cool I like it. I'm not really sure if I'll use it that much but I definitely like it.

Yes! The more you use the microphone Sharlene, it actually gets to learn learn the sound of you voice and inflection and it gets more accurate each time you use it. You'll love it!

The microphone on your iPad is opposite to the home button. Make sure your hand or thumb is not covering that microphone in order for it to hear you clearly. It's close to the FaceTime camera on the front of the iPad. The microphone is on the side behind the camera.
