Home alone in an inflatable e-collar.....

Buffy still suffers from allergies. Rather than get another round of Simplicef, I am trying Triple Antibiotic Bacitracin Zinc/Neomycin Sulface/Polymyxin B Sulfate. One of the ladies at the vet's office suggested the inflatable e-collar to keep him from chewing on his affected areas. It was very red. Thought it was bleeding, but at least isn't now. Washed it off.

Remember he has the low WBC count.

So is it safe for him to be home alone with the inflatable collar around his neck. His demeanor all day since we got it has been great. He sulks quietly on the couch. Thanks. Buffy
