Missing my sweet Tango

Tango it has been one month my dear sweet monkey man since we said goodbye to you. Mommy and Daddy miss you so much every single day, I hope you are happy up there and eating all the yummy treats that you always loved but were no longer able to eat and chasing lots of balls. We love you so much, please always remember that until we meet again.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know what you're feeling, today is 6 weeks since my Cooper passed and it's still very difficult. I still expect to see him when I come home. I still think I need to give him his meds or check on how he's feeling. He was and always will be my baby. I get what you're going through and wish the pain would go away. I can only hope that time will heal. Big hugs, do something special for yourself!

I am so glad you started this new thread so that we all can join you in remembering and honoring your sweet boy. Your loss is still so new; I can only imagine how much you are missing Tango and how empty your home feels without him. But I hope the sweet memories -- the balls and the treats -- will make you smile again, if only for a moment. And that those moments of joyful memories will one day outnumber the sad ones. But for right now, please know our hearts are with you.

Hi and so sorry for your great loss of Tango. I too lost my girl 4 weeks ago. I understand your deep pain and loneliness without your boy. It's such an unnatural feeling without them isn't it.

I hope we can both find comfort in truly believing both our babies are free of pain now and everlasting.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words, it sure does help to have this support and all the love that is shared, it truly makes me feel a little bit better when I read the replies. Jeanette I am so sorry for your loss as well, my those thoughts are with you and your family, it is so incredibly hard but I hope you can remember all the good times you had with your baby like I try to do each and every day. We all understand the pain of losing a precious member of the family. Tango had such an expressive face in his picture too. They leave such a very large hole in our lives and hearts when they are gone, which is always much too soon for us.

Hello everyone just wanted to say Merry Christmas. This 1st Christmas was very hard without our little boy, we talked to him and wished him a Merry Christmas up in heaven. We did have a special Christmas as well though because at the end of October we adopted a rescue dog and he has brought a lot of joy to our lives and it was fantastic to give him a very special 1st Christmas with us. And of course we have our little princess Tia and had to make it special for her without Tango. Hope everyone else who have endured the loss of one of their beloved babies were able to find some happiness this holiday season, hugsto you all.

Aww, congratulations on the newest member of your family.

The firsts are always horrible I think. You just miss them so much still and there are all the reminders.

I'm glad you and your rescue found each other. I imagine this will help Tia with her grief over Tango too.
