Sage

Sage passed away on April 28, 2012.
She stopped eating a few days before that and then began to show no interest in water.
That Saturday morning, after another “no thank you” for food or water, she leaned from her bed and pressed her head against mine. All I could say was, “ok.”
We brought Sage home from the Vet a few hours later and laid her to rest by her brother Franklin out by the Willow Tree. What a fantastic dog. The Good blows the Bad off the map and we have been in full celebration of the life we shared.
So we pause, reflect, and honor her life with positive energy. Sage made us better people, and with her passing it just marks the time when we reward her life, by living ours well.
