Dear Dexter,
I still can't believe you're gone, it's been 2 years. I miss you daily and still cry for you. I know in my head you are in a place that is good, but my heart still aches for you. I miss the way you used to cuddle and sneak up to put your head on my pillow at night. I miss the way you smelled. I miss the way you used to watch for me out the front window. I miss talking to you. I miss your wiggles.

I hope you and Sophie are chasing each other and having a great time.

I wish we could have a do-over from day 1.

I can't believe it's been two years since Dexter passed but no matter how many years go by, we'll always hold your beautiful Boxer Boy in our hearts too. I pray that one day your memories of Dexter will no longer bring tears to your eyes but rather bring a smile to your cute little face.

Please know that I understand how tough it is as I've been very tearful lately too. It's only a few days away from the anniversary of Otis' passing.

I am so sorry you are missing Dexter. I can't imagine the sadness you must feel. Hold on to those precious memories forever. My thoughts are with you.

What a nice note to your boy. I'm sure you miss him every day still. The heart ache is a good reminder of how special he was to you in life, and how close you hold him still in death.
