The above is the title I found on newsweek.com. I thought the vet made an excellent case for carrying over what she does with her patients into human patients. I know this is exactly what Barkley's oncologist, & his vet team did, in general, the last 2 years he was with me. All of them always took the time to answer my questions, & give me the rationale behind everything they wanted to do.

thumbs up!

i spent about $10-$12K in the last 2 years of Niko's life, but it was always for him and not me. I don't think he was ever subjected to a single unnecessary prick of a needle or trip to the vet. My mom always says she hopes I take as good a care of her, as I did Niko. I'll send her this article. :)

Heh, Bettina! I'm sure that Dr. J did the same thing for Niko, too.

Great article! Thank you for sharing it. I've spent on avg. $1,500-$2,000 a month for several years. They are worth every penny and they will always have my heart and I have resigned myself to knowing I will always be broke. I hope the vet industry stays compassionate.
