Here are some amazing photos of the recent wildfires in So Cal. Thanks to many of you who kindly checked in on me to make sure I was safe. The view of the San Gabriel Mountains is unobscured from my office windows and the very first picture is exactly what I saw from my desk that day. A later picture shows how thick the blanket of smoke was over L.A. The Station Fire is still not 100% contained and the mountains are barely visible today. People losing their homes is tragic and I can't imagine what it is like to lose everything; however, being the animal person I am, most of my tears fall for the staggering number of animals/wildlife that were lost in these fires. Humans that set fires are the most evil of beings.
