Link to the original Pets with Diabetes website. Although it is now inactive (i.e. it has not been updated for several years) there is alot of excellent information there:

*note: the petdiabetes.org site has been offline since June 2008, but the site has been archived in two locations.

Thumbs up K9diabetes.com, a terrific resource for people with diabetic dogs!

A terrific resource for people with diabetic dogs! The k9diabetes website and message board was launched in 2008.

It's a great place to learn what you need to know regarding the treatment and care of canine diabetes and where you can meet and talk with folks who are also owners of diabetic dogs. (Bonus: Quite a few of the members there are also members here, and vice versa )

Just diagnosed? Take a deep breath. Diabetes in dogs is almost always manageable and with good care and monitoring, your dog can live a normal, healthy lifespan.
